Net 14

Net 14

Payment terms requiring the full invoice amount to be paid within 14 days of the invoice date.

What is Net 14?

Net 14 means payment is due within 14 days (two weeks). An invoice dated March 1st with Net 14 terms would be due by March 15th. It's a middle ground between the urgency of Net 7 and the flexibility of Net 30.

When to use Net 14

Net 14 works well when:

  • Balancing speed and flexibility — You want payment relatively soon but can give clients a couple weeks
  • Medium-sized projects — Jobs that aren't tiny rush jobs but aren't major projects either
  • Established clients — Clients who pay reliably but you'd prefer faster than Net 30
  • Service businesses — Common in consulting, design, and professional services

Net 14 vs. Net 15

Net 14 and Net 15 are nearly identical in practice—one day's difference rarely matters. Net 15 is slightly more common because 15 is a rounder number. Choose whichever you prefer; consistency matters more than the specific number.
